Dove diapers

This magazine ad shows that Dove’s ingredients penetrate deeper than other moisturizers, as illustrated with the same mysterious blue liquid used in commercials for diaper absorbency.

The positioning of this ad is more “clinical” than most lotion/bodywash ads featuring smiling women with glowing skin. However, I don’t get the emotional and aspirational response from seeing beautiful, nourished, supple skin. Does this ad make you want to try Dove’s Nutrium Moisture line?
